New MUD Districts
Canopy supports the Municipal Utility District's attorney in the establishment of the District, overseeing the preparation of the District Creation Report. This report details the essential enhancements and their associated construction expenses, crucial for ascertaining the bond amount to be voted upon. Subsequently, these expenditures are utilized to assess the District's tax rate. We maintain a strong collaboration with the developer and all Municipal Utility District consultants to guarantee the prompt establishment of the District and also serve as the developer's engineering team for developments within the District.
-

Mature MUD Districts
In the case of older, more established Municipal Utility Districts, there will always be a need for maintenance, upkeep and rehabilitation of existing infrastructure, such as water plants, water lines, access roads, pump stations, generators, wastewater treatment plants, sanitary sewer lines, and keeping up with wastewater discharge permit renewals.
